Hey guys,

I know it's a shock since I haven't updated in literally almost two months, but I just thought I'd say hi.  Most everybody probably stopped checking this a long time ago though!!  Oh well. 

I really haven't been that busy recently, I just sort of got bored with updating because nothing that exciting has been going on except work.  (Not that work is exciting).  I like my job though because I don't work that much and I usually only work Monday through Thursday so I get long weekends every weekend.  And I still really like my bosses.

Other than that I can't wait to go to my parent's house for Easter because I haven't been home in a while!  I hope everyone is doing really well and I miss you all!

I'm really bored and I saw this a while ago on a friend of a friend's xanga and it entertained me for a few minutes, so you can skip over this entry if you don't like hokie stuff like this. 

Step 1: Put your media player on random.
Step 2: Pick your favorite lines from the first 20 songs that play.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from.

See how many songs you can guess from one line, which may or may not be hard, depending on how similar our taste in music is.

Okay, well that entertained me for an hour.  Andy is out of town and I got off work at 2 this afternoon and don't have to go in until 2 tomorrow so I'm just being lazy since I don't have anything specific I should be doing.  I hope you are all having great weeks!  I got paid today which is exciting, but I'm not going to spend it on anything, it's just cool to get paid.

Hi everyone!

I got through my 12 hour shift today at H&R Block - actually, it was only 11 and 1/2 since I got a lunch - and it wasn't as bad as I thought.  I just forced myself not to look at the clock as much as I wanted to because otherwise I would have driven myself crazy.  But they are only open from 8 to 8 for three weeks and this is the second, so it's not like I'll have to work such long hours very much, and after tax season they're only open three days a week, which is definately my type of job!  Four day weekends will be great! 

Now I'm trying to convince myself to exercise because I've been slacking big time, but I just don't have the time anymore to keep up with my good exercising habits!

Hey guys!

It was my birthday yesterday - I turned 23 - and it was a great birthday.  We went to Marietta on Friday and on Saturday I went to breakfast at I-HOP with my dad and Andy and then to the mall to look around and then to Target because I had a gift card from Christmas and then to see Elizabeth while she was working at Starbucks.  Elizabeth gave me my drink for free and I got a pumkin latte, which is the only drink I haven't had at Starbucks because I guess it's new.  With my Target gift card I got these white linen pants that I've wanted for more than a year.  And I've been looking for this one Dave Matthews CD that I don't have and it either isn't at stores or else it's like more than $20, but I found it at a used CD store on Saturday so I got it.  And then for dinner my family, EB, Justin, and Erin went to Carabba's and EB, Erin and I all decided that Carraba's is our favorite restaurant and it was a fun time.  My parents gave me this set of nice luggage for my birthday so now when I travel I have big rolling luggage!  So, this is probably a boring entry, but I just wanted to say hi!  Hope you all have a great week!  I have to work from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow so I'm going to be tired tomorrow night!

Hi guys!

I'm now a working woman, which is cool, but it makes the days go by really fast.  I used to take my time doing everything, but now my time at home seems a lot more valuable.  I like my job so far though - basically I've just been like a receptionist for the past four days I've worked but I'm training to do other stuff.  I really like the owner of the store and her husband, who also works there.  They are both really nice and most of the stuff I'm training to do is with them.

So, other than starting work, not much is going on.  It's been taking up a lot of my time, which was kind of a shock, because I'm so used to getting up late and just taking it easy all day long, but I definately feel more productive now!  And now I'll have some extra money to go shopping and stuff whenever I get a chance!! 

Anyways, I hope you're all doing well, and I miss you!
